Terms of Service

Incorporated by reference into the Jobzango Job Search Services Agreement. Client signature not required. Client acknowledges receipt by signing the main Agreement.

1. ACCEPTABLE USE

By engaging Jobzango's services, the Client agrees to use Jobzango's platform, network, and deliverables solely for the purpose of conducting a legitimate personal job search within the scope defined during the Onboarding Process.

1.1

Client will not misrepresent qualifications, employment history, compensation history, or any other professional information to Jobzango or any prospective employer.

1.2

Client will not use Jobzango's services, network contacts, target lists, or outreach materials for any purpose other than their personal job search.

1.3

Client will not share, reproduce, or distribute Jobzango's proprietary materials, target lists, outreach copy, or platform access with any third party.

1.4

Client will not use Jobzango's services to solicit business, promote personal ventures, or conduct any activity unrelated to a legitimate job search.

1.5

Client will conduct themselves professionally in all interactions with prospective employers introduced through Jobzango. Conduct that damages Jobzango's employer relationships is grounds for immediate termination.

2. CLIENT DATA AND PRIVACY

2.1

Jobzango collects and stores Client professional information including name, contact details, employment history, compensation information, and LinkedIn network data solely for the purpose of conducting the managed job search.

2.2

Client data is never sold, shared with other clients, or used for any purpose outside the scope of the Client's engagement.

2.3

Client data shared with prospective employers is limited to what is necessary to represent the Client professionally within the confirmed target scope.

2.4

Upon conclusion of the engagement, Client data is retained for twenty-four (24) months then deleted unless the Client is a Jobzango Care Member with an active Lifetime Return Benefit.

2.5

Client may request data deletion at any time in writing. Requests are processed within thirty (30) business days. Deletion does not affect Jobzango's right to retain records necessary to defend against legal claims or comply with applicable law.

2.6

By providing LinkedIn account access during onboarding, Client grants Jobzango a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use their LinkedIn account solely for the purpose of conducting the managed job search within the confirmed target scope.

3. ACADEMIZE DIRECT NETWORK

3.1

Academize Direct is Jobzango's proprietary network of hiring managers, decision-makers, and professional contacts developed through Jobzango's ongoing relationship-building activities.

3.2

Access to Academize Direct is a service delivered on the Client's behalf. Client does not receive direct access to, a copy of, or rights to Jobzango's network contacts.

3.3

Jobzango makes no warranty that any specific contact within Academize Direct will respond, engage, or advance the Client's search.

3.4

Introductions made through Academize Direct are facilitated by Jobzango acting as a third-party recruiting agency. Jobzango does not represent that any specific employer relationship will result in an interview or offer.

4. SERVICE LIMITATIONS

4.1

Jobzango's services are designed for mid-level professionals seeking lateral moves or upward transitions within their established field.

4.2

Jobzango's platform and outreach tools are subject to the terms of service of third-party platforms including LinkedIn and major job boards. Changes to those platforms' policies may affect service delivery. Jobzango is not liable for limitations caused by third-party platform policy changes.

4.3

Jobzango does not provide legal, immigration, tax, or financial advice.

4.4

Jobzango does not negotiate directly with employers on the Client's behalf or sign documents on behalf of the Client.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1

All outreach templates, target lists, market strategy documents, engagement proposals, and other deliverables created by Jobzango are the intellectual property of Academize LLC.

5.2

Client is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use deliverables solely for their personal job search.

5.3

Client may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or use Jobzango's deliverables for any commercial purpose or on behalf of any third party.

6. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of laws principles, consistent with the governing law provision of the Jobzango Job Search Services Agreement.
